'Law & Order: SVU' Casts Kelly Giddish And Danny Pino As Series Regulars

Law & Order: SVU has found two new detectives: Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino will join the show as series regulars.
Giddish starred on NBC’s short-lived Chase and has also appeared on The Good Wife. Pino starred for seven seasons on Cold Case. The duo join the show as it enters its 13th season.
The hires come in the wake of Chris Meloni leaving the show. They also provide a potential replacement, of sorts, for Mariska Hargitay — who will maintain a presence on the show all season long, and who will appear in every episode. The network is also leaving open the possibility of more L&O: SVU cast changes (naturally!).
