Justin Timberlake Sparks Twitter Outrage by Calling Madonna a 'Mother Chucking Ninja'
-an Alternate for 'Mother F*****g N***a' - on Same Weekend as Missouri Protests

Justin Timberlake is normally free and easy with his language on Twitter.
And on Saturday, when wishing his friend Madonna a happy 56th birthday, the Suit And Tie singer got himself into some hot water for being just a little too free and easy.

The 33-year-old husband of Jessica Biel called the iconic pop star a 'mother chucking ninja,' which is an alternate way of saying 'mother f*****g n***a.' Considering the violent protests in Ferguson, Missouri, over the weekend stemming from the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, the timing couldn't have been any worse.

The full tweet read, 'A happiest of Bdays to my mother chucking ninja, @Madonna!! Hope you have a great one, M!"

The two collaborated on the duet 4 Minutes in 2008 which appeared on her Hard Candy album. The song is about saving the world from destruction.
Justin has yet to publicly apologize and his rep did not return calls to MailOnline. Madonna has made no mention of the tweet either, and has instead showed off one of her birthday presents on Instagram - a large Amethyst and Citrine Neil Lane ring.

Oops: The 33-year-old singer quickly took down his offensively worded tweet, but followers retweeted it, like A Gonzalez did minutes later


The Tennessee native soon took the tweet down, but many of his 33.9m followers have continued to show just how upset they are.

One tweeter wrote, 'I just ended my relationship w/Justin.'
Another posted, 'Get Justin Timberlake the f--k out of here.'

Bad timing: Protests rage over the shooting death of Michael Brown in Missouri

One tweeter pointed out the bad timing of the message - on Monday the National Guard was brought into Ferguson to try to end a weeks worth of violence on the streets stemming from protest over Brown's shooting.


'Justin Timberlake chose *this* week to call Madonna 'my ninja'? I just can't,' a follower said.
The word 'ninja' has been used by other celebrities for years.
Katy Perry who used the word when doing a version of Kanye West's N****s In Paris during a Radio 1 performance.


On Sunday Timberlake retweeted a message from Matt Morris about the events in Ferguson: 'The world is watching #Ferguson. [And we pray.]'
