Some good news for our farm. Had a new baby donkey born Sat. morning. Mom was having some big time trouble, so I had to assist her and help by pulling the baby out. Mom was so tired she was laying flat on her side. It was 11:30 AM and had warmed up considerably as it had been down in the teens earlier in the morning. She is a little jenny and doing very well, good and strong, running and jumping around today.

I always believe that ANY animal are part of ANY good family.

I have moved your thread into the Earth etc Pets Section

When you decide to name the new baby goat, please post in here its' name.... then I will change the name of this thread to "Progress of Baby 'Kid'

I really appreciate you, and your family's time, in posting photos of that new birth---

Thank ya much, was looking around for a place to post this but I missed the pet at the in of the title section. Anyways I figured some good news was needed... Oh yes, I guess you were seeing the goats in the picture and thinking goats as little one is a donkey and being a little girl, she'll be called a jenny and not a kid. LOL
