The Internet & Some Sites Drive Me CRAZY!!!!!!
 

Do many things on the internet drive you nuts?

Because all I have done so far today is try to put right things that come from sites on the Net, where those sites cannot get things right, which causes us all time of stress, here are a few examples;

If you dont click auto updates on your download managers, it will slow down and have other glitches, which affects your downloads.

Windows Updates cause problem sometimes, which affects other things on your PC

Java & others have had so many bugs in their updates in the last couple of months, that this causes problems on your PC also.

Your IP provider runs slower at certain times of the day, or causes you problems getting on to some sites, you may auto think its' a problem with the sites, yet after a lot of checking, you find out it is your ISP fault. :arrrrrgh: (Some of our members have found this out recently, as they couldnt get onto this site)

I also had a similar problem, when I tried to register on another site and was refused with the message;
"You cannot register on this site using a proxy" :confused:
I was NOT using a proxy!

& sometimes when you try to register on another site, you dont received the confirmation email, hence cant get on.

The last thing I have just dealt with today, is that my FFactory Turbo Booster for my downloads, does not work with Firefox 16.

I am sick & tired of all these browsers bringing out more and more updates, without putting right all the problems in their previous versions ....:hissy:

I want to scweam & scweam & scweam sometimes. :cry3:

OK LBB has finished venting ....for now- I think.

How about you guys, can you add anything to my list above, about you experiences that want to scweam

If it isn`t one thing, it`s another. Malware & Trojans can be a problem if your on a bad site. Hopefully your anti virus & malware protection will help.

Windows updates can screw things up sometimes, along with Abby Reader & others.

You have to watch them & just pick the updates you need only. When Abby, Java & others download updates, they fix them to start when you start your computer. Its best to turn them off with your System configuration Utility.

I get some of them and a lot more over the years :( One thing i found that saves a lot of problems is DO NOT update anything if it still works. I got lot of old version stuff and no probs :) Some stuff you have to update, but a lot you no need to.
