For facebook mobile users
If you use facebook on your cellphone, chances are, every phone number stored in your phone has been ripped to facebook. To see if it is true, got to account > edit friends > contacts. It will show you all the numbers taken from your phone.
I found this out by accident trying to change my cousins account setting for her. I don't even own a cellphone, so mine was empty save for my facebook friends that use facebook mobile all the time. Her contact list had every single phone number there, including people that don't use facebook. Last edited by deathd; 11-08-11 at 14:11. |

Re: For facebook mobile users
Although I don't have a cell phone and wouldn't be caught dead on facebook (shudder), this is a very useful post for users.
Gonna Sticky this one up. Thank you. |

Re: For facebook mobile users
I use facebook to keep in touch with family and friends I left behind, that's about it lol. I am with you on the cell phone though, I do not want to be accessible 24/7 lmao. Plus those GPS tracking bugs and all that

I'm not that lost to begin with and if I have to find a new location I can read a map. Cell phone,Facebook and GPS all smack of Big Brother, and while that is not a huge concern with me it is an annoyance I can live without. I find Society as a whole these days overdoes it with it's need to be directed, and be reachable and entertained every minute of the day. |

Re: For facebook mobile users
Lol a map and my trustee engineering compass are good enough GPS for me too. And trading privacy for "convenience" or for "safety" are not things I enjoy at all lmao.
