Default This Day In History

This day in history of the church I and my wife grew up in Friedberg Moravian Church, today is an important date in Friedberg history. On May 4, 1766 Brother Peter Frey, Sr. was called Home. He was laid to rest in what is now Friedberg’s God’s Acre on May 5th as the first interment. The burial ground was laid out on Adam Spach’s land at the southern border of the Wachovia Tract.

On May 6, 1766, Rev. Johann Michael Graff consecrated the graveyard with a prayer and sermon on “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die it bringeth no fruit” (John 12:24).

This was the same year that the builders from Bethabara started constructing buildings in Salem, 5 years before the first burial in God’s Acre in Salem and 10 years before the start of the American Revolutionary War.

Friedberg’s God’s Acre is now 250 years old and has had approximately 2,000 burials.

Peter Frey’s original gravestone is on display in Friedberg’s Historical Room.

Default Colossians 3:1-17

Col 3:1 You have been raised to life with Christ, so set your hearts on the things that are in heaven, where Christ sits on his throne at the right side of God.
Col 3:2 Keep your minds fixed on things there, not on things here on earth.
Col 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Col 3:4 Your real life is Christ and when he appears, then you too will appear with him and share his glory!
Col 3:5 You must put to death, then, the earthly desires at work in you, such as sexual immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and greed (for greed is a form of idolatry).
Col 3:6 Because of such things God's anger will come upon those who do not obey him.
Col 3:7 At one time you yourselves used to live according to such desires, when your life was dominated by them.
Col 3:8 But now you must get rid of all these things: anger, passion, and hateful feelings. No insults or obscene talk must ever come from your lips.
Col 3:9 Do not lie to one another, for you have put off the old self with its habits
Col 3:10 and have put on the new self. This is the new being which God, its Creator, is constantly renewing in his own image, in order to bring you to a full knowledge of himself.
Col 3:11 As a result, there is no longer any distinction between Gentiles and Jews, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarians, savages, slaves, and free, but Christ is all, Christ is in all.
Col 3:12 You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Col 3:13 Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you.
Col 3:14 And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.
Col 3:15 The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful.
Col 3:16 Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts.
Col 3:17 Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

Default God's Present-day Back-up Army

GOD’S PRESENT-DAY BACK-UP ARMY
David Wilkerson

I want to speak to every Christian who can’t go to a foreign mission field because of circumstances. I’m referring to those who are faithful in prayer, sacrificial in giving, supportive of missions. To all such believers, here is a clear message from 1 Samuel 30:24: “As his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.” You are the supply line to the battlefront and the spoils of war are yours, too.

On that glorious day when our battle has ended—when we are finally able to lay down our spiritual swords—many will stand before the Lord thinking they are empty-handed. These unsung, unknown saints will say to themselves, “I have nothing to present to the Lord. I didn’t do much of anything. I never led many souls to Christ.”

Yet, what a glorious moment awaits them, as Jesus begins to divide the spoils. They’ll be overwhelmed with joy, as their eyes are opened to see just how important they were to the battle. Those who thought they had no good works or deeds to present are going to share equally in the spoils! Among these will be widows, shut-ins and retired people who gave sacrificially to support missions work.

As I think of these unsung saints, I picture the American women who maintained the home front during World War II. While their husbands, brothers and boyfriends did battle on the front lines—in the Pacific, Europe and Africa—these women manned huge assembly lines. They worked around the clock, toiling and sweating, with the factory’s loud noises constantly whirring in their ears.

Circumstances didn’t allow these women to be on the battlefront. So they “stood by the stuff” in support of their loved ones. And without the fruit of their labors, their faithful production on those assembly lines, the war never could have been won.

Beloved, this is the true picture in eternity of every unknown saint who thinks he has nothing to present to Jesus.

Default Prayer Target....

Evangelist Billy Graham called his daughter, Anne Graham Lotz, "the best preacher in the family." Anne's message consistently calls people to a personal relationship with God through His Word. Author of 11 books, some award-winning, Anne leads AnGel Ministries. Anne lost her husband, Danny, last year, after 3 years of declining health. These excerpts are from her recent Blog It's Time to Get Serious!:

In Psalm 32:6, the Psalmist implies that there comes a time when God cannot be found. A time when God hides Himself. A time that I believe may have begun in America.

Our nation is in a mess. Why? Could it be because America is losing God's blessing? His favor? Could our sin be provoking His judgment? Judgment that is not necessarily in the form of a nuclear dirty bomb, or another ISIS attack, or an economic collapse. But a Romans 1 judgment as God backs out of our national life and turns us over to ourselves.

In the Old Testament, God moved in judgment on His own beloved nation of Judah. Interestingly, His judgment was a 22-year process. God moved slowly, giving plenty of opportunity for Judah to repent of her sin, turn to Him, and so escape the judgment. But with all of God's warnings, Judah became even more defiant. More disobedient. More wicked. She insisted on her right to immorality and idolatry. God became her enemy. He sent in the Babylonians to destroy Jerusalem, the temple, and the people. Those who were not taken captive were slaughtered in the streets (2 Chr 36:15-19).

God warns a nation that judgment is coming. He doesn't want any to perish. But if a nation does not heed His warnings, He unleashes His anger and there is nothing -- no one -- who can prevent it. If God would judge His own beloved nation of Judah, why would we think America could escape?

So... if we are coming under the judgment of God -- If He is giving us over to ourselves, removing His blessing, protection, and favor -- the solution will not be found in politics or the economy or the military or technology. The solution will be found on our knees as we humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, and repent of our sin. Then plead for Him to return to us as we return to Him.

Now is the time to get serious about repentance and prayer. As I addressed the crowd gathered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on April 9th, I spoke of when Ezra led a great revival in Judah, the people stood in the pouring rain for three days repenting of their sin. (Ezra 10:9) I wonder...had God made it hard on His people to test the seriousness of their repentance?

Those gathered on the Washington Mall were also standing in the pouring rain...and snow...with temperatures in the 20??s. Was God also testing our seriousness to seek His face, pray, and repent?

God promises: You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. (Jer 29:13) There can be no casual, half-hearted turning to God???not if we want Him to return to us. God emphasizes this in Joel 2:12-14: 'Even now... return to me with all your heart... Rend your heart and not your garments...Who knows? [God] may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing.

Some of the prayers and repentance calls I have heard in the church or at prayer events seem to be a rending of garments. An outward show to impress. A going through the motions of repentance. But the pleading seems to be contrived and hollow instead of broken-hearted and contrite.

Only God knows those who are rending their hearts as they seek Him. But I am led to ask myself...how truly serious am I about seeking God on behalf of our nation? When was the last time I fasted and wept and mourned and confessed the sin of our nation as though it were my own? I believe the future of America hangs on the answer to that question.

Default Only The Holy Spirit

ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT
Jim Cymbala

Let’s remember how one becomes a Christian. Before a person can feel the need for Jesus Christ as a savior, that person must first be convicted of sin. “When [the Spirit] comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:8, NIV). The Holy Spirit shows us our sin and our need for a savior. That is what every believer experiences in conversion to Christ.

Jesus also taught that entrance into the kingdom of God (being “born again”) can happen only by the Holy Spirit’s work: Jesus told Nicodemus, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit” (John 3:5).

It is the Holy Spirit working inside of us that causes us to turn from our sin and fix our eyes on Jesus. While we may be tempted to think that we can create emotional environments for this to happen, the truth is that this kind of rebirth or transformation can happen only through the work of the Holy Spirit.

The apostle Paul taught that believers are “temples of the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:19), and because the Spirit lives inside of us, that make us different from the rest of the world. If the Holy Spirit doesn’t live inside a person, no church membership or even a sincere effort to live a good life can make that person a Christian. Only true faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, confirmed by the Holy Spirit, makes us a new creation. The Spirit inhabiting every believer is just another way of saying, “Christ in us,” for the Holy Spirit’s presence represents Jesus.

When God looks down on earth, He doesn’t focus on ethnicity, and He never acknowledges religious denominations. He just sees two kinds of people: His children who have the Spirit living inside of them and unbelievers who don’t have the Spirit living inside of them. It’s as simple as that. Today we split hairs about doctrinal positions to validate our faith, but to the early church the definition was simpler. Either we are temples or we are not temples. “If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ” (Romans 8:9). It would have been impossible for the apostles to consider someone a true believer in Jesus without the accompanying witness and work of the Spirit. The Spirit of God was the bottom line.

Default Faith That Pleases God

FAITH THAT PLEASES GOD
David Wilkerson

“Being not weak in faith, [Abraham] considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb” (Romans 4:19).

The essence of true faith is found in this single verse. God had just promised Abraham that he would have a son, one who would become the seed of many nations. Remarkably, Abraham didn’t flinch at this promise, even though he was well past the age of siring children. Instead, when Abraham received this word from the Lord, we’re told he “considered not his own body now dead [nor] . . . the deadness of Sarah’s womb.”

To the natural mind, it was impossible for this promise to be fulfilled. But Abraham didn’t dwell on any such impossibility. According to Paul, the patriarch gave no thought to how God would keep His promise. He didn’t reason with God, “But, Lord, I have no seed to plant. And Sarah has no life in her womb to conceive. My wife is past the ability to bear children. So, how will You do it, Lord?” Instead of entertaining such questions, Abraham simply “considered not.”

The fact is, when God is at work producing a faith that is tried and better than gold, He first puts a sentence of death on all human resources. He closes the door to all human reasoning, bypassing every means of a rational deliverance.

The faith that pleases God is born in a place of deadness. I’m speaking here of the deadness of all human possibilities. It is a place where man-made plans flourish at first but then die. It is a place where human hopes bring temporary relief but soon crash, adding to a sense of helplessness. Have you been at this place of deadness? Has it seemed that you have no options left? You can’t call someone to advise you. The heavens are like brass when you pray, your requests falling to the ground.

I declare to you, this is God at work. His Spirit is working to get you to stop considering the impossibilities—to stop looking to human ways and means—to stop trying to think your way out of your situation. The Holy Ghost is urging you, “Quit hunting for help from some man. And quit focusing on how hopeless you think your situation is. Those are hindrances to your faith.”

Default Move On In Faith

MOVE ON IN FAITH
David Wilkerson

I tell you, we are in the midst of war! You are facing evil powers, fighting for your faith against the father of all lies. He is the one who has planted all those little thoughts: “Where is your God? Things are going from bad to worse. Your pain, your suffering, your needs keep mounting. God has promised to make a way of escape for you. So, where is the way? Where is your God now, when you need Him most?”

You are now being shaken and sifted. And in the midst of it all, your faith seems to have failed. Beloved, I have good news for you: God is not mad at you.

You may ask: “Doesn’t Jesus suffer when we mistrust Him? Doesn’t the Lord grieve when we waver and question His Word and His faithfulness?” Yes, yes, He absolutely does. But those who have failed in faith can still keep their eyes on Jesus.

How patient is our Lord, how merciful. He hears all our murmuring and questioning, He sees so many doubtful thoughts in our minds, and yet He looks upon us with forgiveness and compassion.

After Peter denied the Lord he was restored and lived out a great life of faith. Remember, Jesus had given him this word of encouragement at Passover: “When thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren” (Luke 22:32). This is the Lord’s word for you and for me, as well. He tells us just as He told Peter, “Keep your eyes on Me. You are going to come through this. And you’re going to help your brothers and sisters in My house.”

Later, in the book of Acts (see Acts 12:1-10), we find Peter locked up in an inner prison. An angel comes to him, shakes off his chains, and tells him to get up and leave. At that point, Peter never looks at the impossibilities around him: the iron gates he had to go through, the many guards and soldiers he had to pass by at his own peril. Instead, Peter rises in faith at the angel’s instruction, and when he comes to the iron gates, they open of their own accord.

So it will be for you, dear saint, if you are willing to get up and move on in faith.

United States of America America Is Being Invaded

America Is Being Invaded by an Alien Species Called the Ze’s and the Hir’s

Is this such a hard concept to understand? Because one has his sexual organ amputated, does not mean he has changed genders. This person is still an XY , not an XX. But in today’s Obama climate of political correctness, science does not matter. The perverse are now ruling over the normal. The minority have protected status while we traditional Christians remain under attack.
The Elimination of Free Speech and Christian Values

The New York City Commission on Human Rights, employees, landlords are demanding that businesses can face stiff fines if they do not refer to transgenders by using “approved” terms such as “ze” and “hir”. Failure to do so will result in violation of the New York City Human Rights Law.
This is the most poorly written administrative law that I have seen. However, it appears that each business must refer to each transgender in the the exact terms that each transgender demands.
This is an unreasonable burden on any business. To remain compliant with this unusual demand and far-reaching demand, a business will have to literally hire and question all people entering a business. With an average of a 4% margin of profit, what business can afford to do this, particularly the “mom and pop shops” Like Obamacare did, this will force many small businesses into bankruptcy. This is just one more attack on small businesses and Christian values by the Obamanistas.
The Creation of Twisted Minds

Here is an excerpt from the administrative law: “Intentional or repeated refusal to use an individual’s preferred name, pronoun or title. For example, repeatedly calling a transgender woman “him” or “Mr.” after she has made clear which pronouns and title she uses.” If you are rubbing your eyes in confusion, you are not alone.
Mark Zuckerberg; He not only has pages that are advocating for the assassination of Donald Trump, he offers 71 varieties of identifying gender on the perverted entity we call Facebook.

“Covered entities may avoid violations of The NYCHRL by creating a policy of asking everyone what their preferred gender pronoun is so that no individual is singled out for such questions and by updating their systems to allow all individuals to self-identify their names and genders. They should not limit theoptions for identification to male and female only,” states the nychrl on gender identity”. THIS WILL LITERALLY CAUSE ALL BUSINESSES TO REVISE THEIR ORDER FORMS. Again, what small business can afford such an onerous demand?
Can you imagine every business being forced to ask every customer as they walk through the door if they want to be referred to as “he”, “ze”, and “hir”. I am just curious, do zi’s mate with hir’s? What is the hierarchy of reproduction with these new species with novel names. Are biology teachers going to have revise their curriculum to cater to these perversions.
Properly Diagnosing the Emergence of the New Species

When I became a therapist, these were the criteria in which we were trained.
Diagnostic criteria for Gender Identity Disorder

In the not to distant past, this is how we defined the mental illness known as gender identity disorder.

DSM IV – TR
“A. A strong and persistent cross-gender identification (not merely a desire for any perceived cultural advantages of being the other sex). In children, the disturbance is manifested by four (or more) of the following:
(1) repeatedly stated desire to be, or insistence that he or she is, the other sex
(2) in boys, preference for cross-dressing or simulating female attire; in girls, insistence on wearing only stereotypical masculine clothing
(3) strong and persistent preferences for cross-sex roles in make-believe play or persistent fantasies of being the other sex
(4) intense desire to participate in the stereotypical games and pastimes of the other sex
(5) strong preference for playmates of the other sex. In adolescents and adults, the disturbance is manifested by symptoms such as a stated desire to be the other sex, frequent passing as the other sex, desire to live or be treated as the other sex, or the conviction that he or she has the typical feelings and reactions of the other sex.
B. Persistent discomfort with his or her sex or sense of inappropriateness in the gender role of that sex. In children, the disturbance is manifested by any of the following: in boys, assertion that his penis or testes are disgusting or will disappear or assertion that it would be better not to have a penis, or aversion toward rough-and-tumble play and rejection of male stereotypical toys, games, and activities; in girls, rejection of urinating in a sitting position, assertion that she has or will grow a penis, or assertion that she does not want to grow breasts or menstruate, or marked aversion toward normative feminine clothing. In adolescents and adults, the disturbance is manifested by symptoms such as preoccupation with getting rid of primary and secondary sex characteristics (e.g., request for hormones, surgery, or other procedures to physically alter sexual characteristics to simulate the other sex) or belief that he or she was born the wrong sex.
C. The disturbance is not concurrent with a physical intersex condition.
D. The disturbance causes clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning.
Code based on current age:
302.6 Gender Identity Disorder in Children
302.85 Gender Identity Disorder in Adolescents or Adults

Specify if (for sexually mature individuals):
Sexually Attracted to Males
Sexually Attracted to Females
Sexually Attracted to Both
Sexually Attracted to Neither

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, DSM V appeared and the whole clinical issue of gender identity disorder had been politicized out of the mental health domain. What is interesting is that under DSM IV TR, therapists would deal with “dual diagnosis”. This means that individuals who were diagnosed with gender identity disorder were also diagnosed with an accompanying mental illness.
Conclusion

The DSM IV diagnosis of gender identity disorder were never meant to demean, harass or label. There was never any intended effort to discriminate against people with this condition. The criteria for diagnosis for this criteria was developed after decades of profession research. This criteria was a good faith effort to help people cope with their self-described personal struggles which accompanied their often impaired social adjustment.
Despite the voluminous amount of research which clearly demonstrated a pattern of maladaptive social and personal adjustment, DSM V came along and made modern psychiatry into nothing more than the Obama Manual for Political Correctness. To hell with the research. “We will tell you what is normal”. At the end of the day, Obama does not give a damn about transgenders. It is just another way to attack traditional American values as Obama continues to contribute to the fall of American society.
It is New York City today, in which free speech and free-thinking is under attack by the perverted leadership of this city.
Mark my words, this is the prelude to the acceptance of child molestation as a legitimate expression of one’s sexuality.

Default Empowered For Great Things

EMPOWERED FOR GREAT THINGS
Nicky Cruz

You and I have been given a gift greater than we could possibly imagine or ask for. We’ve been entrusted with the most powerful blessing we could ever receive—the gift of the Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit. The Spirit that is God, that lives within us, directing us, guiding us, empowering us for great and mighty things.

And with this gift comes great responsibility. We are to take it and use it for God’s glory. Use it to further God’s glory, to further the work of the kingdom.

When we move in the blessing of God, we can never forget the source of this blessing or the reason He blesses us. It’s not to keep us comfortable, but to empower us for greater service.

No one is more obsessed with savings souls than God. His heart burns for those who need His love and forgiveness, those who refuse to trust Him with their future, those who have yet to understand just how much He loves and cares for them, how much He wants to hold them in His loving arms, kiss away the pain, and bring them into the fold of eternity!

God lives to see the day that heaven is literally bursting at the seams with souls, and He has trusted you and me to see that that happens. He has put His faith in us to carry this burden for Him, to carry His message of hope to a lost world. He longs for us to develop a soul obsession in the depths of our heart.

If you haven’t embraced the passion for souls that God wants each of us to have—the passion that Jesus displayed during His days on earth—then begin today by asking God to burn it into your heart.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8, NIV).

Default The Schoolroom Of Prayer

THE SCHOOLROOM OF PRAYER
David Wilkerson

Sometimes we are too casual about prayer. But in times of trouble we find ourselves wrestling with the Lord in prayer every day, until we are assured in our spirit that He has everything under control. The more we want to be reminded of that assurance, the more we go to our prayer closet.

The truth is, God never allows an affliction in our lives except as an act of love. We see this illustrated in the tribe of Ephraim in Israel. The people had fallen into great affliction, and they cried out to God in grief. He responded, “I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus” (Jeremiah 31:18).

Like David, Ephraim testified, “Thou has chastised me . . . as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me . . . for thou art the Lord my God” (31:18). In other words: “Lord, You chastened us for a reason. We were like a young, untrained bull, full of energy, but You chastened us to tame us for Your service. You brought our wildness under control.”

You see, God had great plans for the tribe of Ephraim, fruitful, satisfying plans. But first they had to be instructed and trained. Thus, Ephraim declared, “I repented; and after that I was instructed” (31:19). They said, in effect: “In the past, when God had us in the classroom preparing us for His service, we couldn’t take correction. We ran away, crying, ‘It’s too hard.’ We were stubborn, constantly slipping out of the yoke He put upon us. Then God put on us a tighter yoke, and He used His loving rod to break our stubborn will. Now, we yield to His yoke.”

We also are like Ephraim: young, self-centered bulls that don’t want to be put under a yoke. We avoid the discipline of plowing, experiencing pain, being under the rod. And we expect to have everything now—victory, blessing, fruitfulness—by merely claiming God’s promises, or “taking them by faith.” We chafe at being trained in secret prayer, at having to wrestle with God until His promises are fulfilled in our lives. Then, when affliction comes, we think, “We’re God’s choice people. Why is this happening?”

The prayer closet is our schoolroom. And if we don’t have that “alone time” with Jesus—if we’ve eased off from intimacy with Him—we won’t be ready when the flood comes.

Default In Times Of Affliction

IN TIMES OF AFFLICTION
David Wilkerson

I may not see the evidence, but God is always at work. Every moment of the day, every hour I sleep, He is making a way for me. And His plan is right on schedule, at all times, even when there seems to me to be a delay in His holy work. He is getting at things deep down in me that must be settled so that He can fulfill His promises.

One day I will look back at these trying times and say, “Lord, now I see. You were there all the time, working my miracle!”

Those who are in despair may be tempted to shut themselves out of communion with God. Yet doing so can be fatal. In Psalm 88, you may find a description of what you are going through. A godly man named Heman tells of his hopeless situation:

“My soul is full of trouble. I have been brought down to the pit, and I am among the dead. God has laid me in the lowest pit in darkness, and his wrath lies hard on me. My friends have forsaken me; I am shut up, closed in. I mourn because of my affliction” (my paraphrase).

Heman then challenges God: “Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? Shall the dead arise and praise thee? Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? Or thy faithfulness in destruction? Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? And thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?” (Psalm 88:10–12).

Heman is saying, in effect, “I need a miracle now, Lord, not at the resurrection. This is my last hope. Soon it will be too late, because I’ll be dead. You face a deadline here, God. Help me! Why are You casting me off? Why do You hide Your face from me? Why don’t You answer my cries?”

This is hopelessness, despair, an apparently impossible crisis.

What can a godly soul do? How does a righteous soul react? Like Heman, we are to cry night and day: “O Lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee. Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry. . . . Unto thee have I cried, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee” (Psalm 88:1–2, 13).

Here are three things I do in my times of great affliction:

I receive and believe in the love and delight of my heavenly Father.
I pour out my heart before Him, crying to Him in silence.
I encourage my soul with His promises daily.

United States of America Dr. James Dobson on bathroom edict: 'Have we gone absolutely mad?'

Dr. James Dobson:

When I was in the third grade, I raised my hand one day and asked the teacher for permission to “go to the bathroom.” She nodded, and I hurried down the hall to the door designated “Boys.” When I had relieved myself, I headed back in the direction of my homeroom. As bad luck would have it, the doors in the hallway all looked alike, and I opened the wrong one. Two second-grade girls were standing there with their mouths open in disbelief. Then they both screamed and pointed at me. The loudest one said, “You’re in BIG trouble!” The other shouted, “Get out of here!” Sweet kids.

I was mortified beyond belief. I sneaked back into class and looked at the floor, wondering who might have witnessed my unthinkable crime. That was decades ago, but I haven’t forgotten my humiliation. The cardinal rule is that boys and girls never entered each other’s private facilities. Never!

How the world has changed! Who would have believed a day would come during my lifetime when boys could meander into the private sanctuary of girls’ toilets, or that it would someday be a civil right for men to use women’s locker rooms and showers without permission or apology? Imagine sex-absorbed junior high boys ogling the bodies of developing pubescent girls or standing beside them in their showers. Have we gone absolutely mad? What ever happened to modesty, safety, and Christian mores?

Did it upset you when the president of the United States ordered every public school in America to open all its bathroom facilities including those that are in use by a member of the opposite sex? The president’s order made me furious, and then sick to my stomach. How dare this man do something so audacious and unthinkable! His letter from the White House carried an implied threat to withhold federal money from local schools, which rocked the halls of public education. Who is this politician that is spending your hard-earned tax dollars to manipulate school officials, anyway? Who is it that is warping our children? It is Barack Obama, one of the worst presidents in American history, and it is time we stood up and said so!

Obama, acting like a king, is wielding dictatorial powers never envisioned in the law. He is determined to change the way males and females relate to one another, and worse, how children perceive themselves. If you are a married man with any gumption, surely you will defend your wife’s privacy and security in restroom facilities. Would you remain passive after knowing that a strange-looking man, dressed like a woman, has been peering over toilet cubicles to watch your wife in a private moment? What should be done to the pervert who was using mirrors to watch women and girls in their stalls? If you are a dad, I pray you will protect your little girls from men who walk in unannounced, unzip their pants and urinate in front of them. If this had happened 100 years ago, someone might have been shot. Where is today’s manhood? God help us!

(You are probably aware that Target has taken a stand to allow persons who “self-identify” as a man or woman to use the restroom of their choice. In addition to Target Stores, the following retailers have also decided, against the objection of their customers, to create “gender neutral” bathrooms: Starbucks, Ross, Walgreens, Toys “R” Us, and Barnes & Noble. My wife, Shirley, and I will no longer patronize these stores, and I hope millions of others will do likewise.)

Let’s talk more about Barack Obama, who is a tyrant in many ways. How dare he assault centuries of modesty and moral beliefs! By what authority does he tell parents and school officials what to teach children under their care? Christian parents, does this outrageous order violate something deep within your sense of propriety? The president has already maneuvered the courts to undermine a 5,000-year-old definition of marriage, after experiencing his infamous epiphany. Now he is determined to change Western civilization forever. He becomes more reckless and defiant as his second term comes to an end. Never has an American president been so absorbed with the use and abuse of power, and unfortunately, he still has seven months to go. What is next?

I grew up respecting the authority and dignity of the nation’s presidents. Each of them was tasked to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and to protect our rights as citizens. That is what I was taught. My fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Harris, described for us the three branches of government, and how each division has the authority to restrain the other two according to a principle known as “checks and balances.” It made America unique among nations. But, with the complete refusal of the U.S. Congress to restrain the presidency or to curtail a runaway judiciary that is itself drunk with power, “we the people” are victimized by those who steal our freedom. Our Founding Fathers would be shocked to learn how the safeguards on our freedom have been abandoned.

My friend Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council recently said he is often asked, “Why is the Obama administration trying to mainstream ‘transgenderism’ and force schools to accommodate students who want to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of the opposite sex?” Tony’s answer gets to the heart of the motive: “It’s all part of a radical movement trying to destroy the fact that God created man and woman – and that somehow people can choose what gender they want to be. The ultimate goal is to break down all sexual inhibition and morality – a goal that would result in social chaos.”

This is what influential feminist Dale O’Leary had to say on the issue of gender and its meaning in her publication, “Gender: The Deconstruction of Women: Analysis of the Gender Perspective in Preparation for the Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, China.” She wrote, “Although many people think that men and women are the natural expression of a genetic blueprint, gender is a product of human thought and culture, a social construction that creates the ‘true nature’ of all individuals.”

Do you understand what she was saying? Gender is not determined by your chromosomes. It is a product of culture. If a man thinks like a woman, he IS a woman. Furthermore, if we protect children from social and religious conditioning, people will be free to move into and out of existing gender roles at will. Taking that concept to its logical conclusion, the feminists and LGBT activists want to dissolve the traditional roles of mothers and fathers and, in time, eliminate references to wife, husband, son, daughter, sister, brother, manhood, womanhood, boy, girl, masculine and feminine. These activists want us to replace age-old terminology with neutral terms, such as significant other, spouse, parent, child and sibling. You’ll see that happening in the near future. The bottom line is that they want to destroy human sexuality and take with it the foundation of the family. That is their goal, and they have a president in office who is willing to use his executive authority to force this nonsense on us all.

Clearly, there are serious implications here for mothers and fathers. I urge you to protect your boys and girls from those who are espousing these views. Shield them from gender feminism and from those who would confuse their sexuality. They will be under increasing political pressure in years to come.

It is also important for us as adults to understand our own sexual identities. If we don’t know who we are, our kids will be doubly confused about who they are. Any uncertainty, any ambiguity in that assignment must be seen as damaging not only to our sons and daughters but also to the long-term stability of society itself.

I urge you to base your teachings about sexuality on the Scriptures, which tell us, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27). Jesus, who was the first Jewish leader to give dignity and status to women, said, “Haven’t you read … that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,'” and, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh” (Matthew 19:4-5). That is the divine plan. It leaves no doubt that the Creator made not one sex but two, each beautifully crafted to “fit with” and meet the needs of the other. Any effort to teach children differently is certain to produce turmoil in the soul of a child.

We must fight to protect our homes and families from politically correct politicians who would create new entitlements that take away our liberties. There is no time to lose. Our children hang in the balance.

Our Pastor's response to this is good also, Pastor Jim Newsome:
The answers to Dr. Dobson's question is "yes." America is under God's judgment and much of what we see happening is the result of Him turning our nation and world over to the strong delusion warned of in 2 Thessalonians 2:11. The snowball of sin is going to keep rolling downhill and gain size and speed as it goes. Obama is a horrible president who has done great harm to our country, but given who it looks like our choices will be in November, I see little hope of things improving. The solution to our nation's ills won't be found in the White House, on Capitol Hill, the Supreme Court, the United Nations, etc. , but only at foot of our Savior's cross and the Father's throne of grace. We need to quit chasing political solutions and get back to doing what the Lord called us to do ... share the gospel, make disciples ... face-to-face; heart-to-heart ... one heart; one life; one soul at a time.

Default Like A Thief In The Night

LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT
David Wilkerson

A dear Christian woman in Louisiana wrote to our ministry: “Last Sunday, our pastor asked for testimonies of what God had been doing during the week. His own five-year-old son stood up and said, ‘I had a dream last night. Jesus told me He is coming soon.’” The Holy Spirit used that child to remind God’s people of a glorious truth.

Sadly, the present generation knows less about the return of Christ than any generation in the past. Jesus’ coming is seldom preached in churches anymore. Indeed, multitudes who call themselves Christians don’t want to hear about the subject. Why?

Life is good for most people, including Christians, and the focus is on how to keep the good times rolling. Just as Lot’s wife, many are possessed by what they own. They have become addicted to the things of this world, and in their minds Jesus’ coming would be disruptive.

I have heard churchgoers mock the possibility of Jesus’ “anytime return.” They scoff at the idea He could come back soon. Indeed, there is a doctrine that states our Lord won’t return for thousands of years. The idea is that the Church will be given all that time to evangelize the world and set up a new order before Christ comes back to reign as King.

The Apostle Peter addresses these things, saying, “There shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation” (2 Peter 3:3–4).

Peter speaks a pointed word to all such willfully ignorant people: “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).

Default Come, Lord Jesus Come

COME, LORD JESUS!
David Wilkerson

We can be sure God is going to judge the wicked—without question a payday is coming. When that time arrives, all mockers, God-haters and wicked people will be called to give an account. The books will be opened and every vile deed will be made manifest, revealing all that these evil ones did against God’s authority. Their deeds will be judged severely, and the wicked will be cast out of God’s presence eternally.

Jesus assured His disciples, “Shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?” (Luke 18:7). He was saying, “Yes, God will one day deal with those who have mocked, persecuted, jailed and killed His people. The cry of the persecuted church has been heard and He will avenge them speedily.” Yet, Jesus then asks in the next sentence, “Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (18:8).

Christ’s question at the end of this passage signals His greatest concern. He is saying, “When I come back, I’ll be looking for a people who have believed My promise to return for them. The question is whether those people will be ready and waiting for Me. Will they be weaned from this world, yearning for Me to take them home as My Bride? Will they be spotless, or soiled with the spirit of the age? Will I arrive to find them crying, ‘Come, Lord Jesus’?”

“Of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).

Jesus did not give us the date of His coming, but He did tell us what society would be like then. He goes on to describe what the prevailing conduct of humankind will be like when He returns.

“As in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (24:38–39).

Default Psalms 73:21-28

Psa 73:21 When my thoughts were bitter and my feelings were hurt,
Psa 73:22 I was as stupid as an animal; I did not understand you.
Psa 73:23 Yet I always stay close to you, and you hold me by the hand.
Psa 73:24 You guide me with your instruction and at the end you will receive me with honor.
Psa 73:25 What else do I have in heaven but you? Since I have you, what else could I want on earth?
Psa 73:26 My mind and my body may grow weak, but God is my strength; he is all I ever need.
Psa 73:27 Those who abandon you will certainly perish; you will destroy those who are unfaithful to you.
Psa 73:28 But as for me, how wonderful to be near God, to find protection with the Sovereign LORD and to proclaim all that he has done!

Default Christ Will Gather His Bride

CHRIST WILL GATHER HIS BRIDE
David Wilkerson

Jesus spoke of a great and sudden disappearance of people from the earth. “In that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left” (Luke 17:34–36). Jesus’ disciples asked, “Where will these people be taken?” He answered, “Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together” (17:37). He was saying, “I am the Head of the Body and the Head is going to be united with the Body.”

Some scholars say the people taken up are sinners being swept away to judgment. But Scripture suggests otherwise. Isaiah speaks of eagles in reference to the Church: “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31). Also, God said to Israel, “Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself” (Exodus 19:4).

In Matthew, Jesus speaks of the elect being taken up by God: “He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:31). Paul makes this clear, stating: “The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–18).

As dramatic as this great event will be, Jesus’ point was that it will happen on an ordinary day. It will be like those past days of judgment, in Noah’s and Lot’s societies. Men and women will be at their jobs, going about their day as usual. Then everything will happen suddenly, in a mere moment. Paul says: “We shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51–52).

It will be a day like any other. All of humankind will be unaware, but then, in a single moment, Christ will gather His Bride.

Default Temples Of The Holy Spirit

TEMPLES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Jim Cymbala

As Christians, our lives have been purchased for a price, and we now belong to God. The price was the blood of Jesus Christ, which He shed on the cross. Just as Israelites in the Old Testament belonged to God through covenant, Christians belong to God through the salvation we have experienced. We are God’s people now. We belong to Him—rescued out of the clutches of sin, guilt and condemnation, and adopted into His family. In this case, being bought and owned by someone isn’t a negative thing; it’s a beautiful thing.

God saved us for the purpose of making us human temples, inhabited by His Spirit. During Old Testament days, God dwelt within the inner room of the temple—a place called the Holy of Holies. That’s where He made His home. When Paul said Christians were the “temples of the Holy Spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:19), the word he used for “temple” was not the word used for the outer rooms of the Old Testament temple. It was naos, which referred to the inner sanctum, the place where there was a visible manifestation of the shekinah glory of God.

That indwelling of God through the Holy Spirit makes Christianity different from any other religion on earth. Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism—none of these religions claim that their god inhabits their followers. The leaders of those belief systems may try to proselytize with their doctrine, but the gospel of Jesus Christ is different. Faith in Jesus makes us walking miracles who have been changed through the personal indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

God’s plan in redemption was that we should live life full of the Holy Spirit. “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18). The metaphor here is that we might be filled with the Spirit to the point where He overflows—spilling out unto others with love and grace.

Default But Know This

BUT KNOW THIS
David Wilkerson

When Jesus uses the phrase, “But know this,” in Matthew 24:43, He is telling us, “You dare not ignore this word.” Then He offers the following statement: “If that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; [he] shall begin to smite his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken” (Matthew 24:48–49).

Luke 12 identifies this servant as the same one who at one time faithfully served “meat in due season” (Luke 12:42). This servant started out right and he was destined to be rewarded as a keeper of the Lord’s goods. But now he has changed dramatically. He is found striking those around him and getting drunk with the drunken.

Something took place in this servant’s heart—a change perhaps unseen, but one that affected his attitude. What happened? What was this change? Jesus tells us that he said in his heart, “My lord delayeth his coming” (24:48).

The Greek word for smite in verse 49 suggests repeated blows. In other words, this servant had fallen into hypocrisy. I see him as one who provokes his wife, curses freely, listens to dirty stories, gossips. How does he come to this? He convinces himself that his master isn’t coming back anytime soon. When he reasons to himself, “My lord,” he is speaking of a different lord entirely, not his righteous Master. He has conceived a Jesus of his own making, a Christ of another gospel.

This type of servant doesn’t preach his new attitude. Rather, the change has taken place in his thinking. He doesn’t have to broadcast his belief that the Master has delayed His coming. He is simply living out that belief and that makes all the difference.

Do you wonder why so many churches today are filled with unprepared, indulgent pleasure seekers? Do you wonder why so many Christian couples divorce at the slightest provocation? It isn’t because their pastors are teaching them to live that way. No, it’s because many shepherds do not believe Christ is coming in their generation. And the people merely follow the shepherd.

Default What Is Ahead For The Church?

WHAT IS AHEAD FOR THE CHURCH?
David Wilkerson

What is ahead for the church of Jesus Christ? This is a question of great concern to believers worldwide. As cataclysmic events take place all over the globe, many are wondering, “Is the Holy Spirit going to revive the Church before Jesus returns? Will Christ’s Body leave this world with a whimper or with a shout?”

The New Testament is filled with predictions of a last-days falling away. False prophets will rise up and lead many astray. Wolves will come in sheep’s clothing, bringing powerful deceptions to “deceive, if possible, even the elect of God.” Wickedness will abound, causing once-hot believers to lose their first love. With the flood of iniquity to come, the love of many will grow cold.

Jesus prophesied these very things and His warnings were meant to challenge our faith. As overwhelming iniquity floods the earth, He asks: “When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:8).

Christ knew everything we would be witnessing today: horrifying school shootings; the rise of militant homosexuality; terrorist acts taking place throughout the world. In the midst of these things, He asks us, “Will you continue to believe, though things wax worse? Will you faint in your confidence when things don’t happen as you thought they would? Or, will you continue to trust in Me?”

Despite the rise in iniquity and the occurrence of great calamities, Jesus knew there would be a great last-days revival. The Holy Spirit inspired Isaiah’s prophecies, and He knew full well about the prediction of a revival as the end draws near.

Isaiah said there would be a great, worldwide awakening just prior to Christ’s return. This prophecy is found in Isaiah 54 and is summed up in these verses: “Thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited” (54:3).

I believe with a number of Bible scholars that Isaiah’s prophecy has a dual application. It speaks not only about natural Israel after captivity in Babylon, but also about the spiritual Israel that was to come: the Body of Jesus Christ, the Church of the New Jerusalem. Paul quotes from Isaiah 54 when he refers to the “Jerusalem which is above . . . the mother of us all” (Galatians 4:26). Paul saw Isaiah’s prophecy as directed “to the children of promise,” those in Christ by faith.

United States of America The American Left is Beneath Contempt

The American Left is Beneath Contempt
By Steve McCann

The United States has just experienced the worst terrorist attack on its shores since September 11, 2001. Forty-nine innocent fellow Americans were wantonly slaughtered by a radicalized Muslim, and traitor, who had pledged his allegiance to a foreign entity, ISIS, whose declared objective is the reinstitution of the Islamic Caliphate and the butchery of western infidels. These victims were murdered primarily because they were in a gay night club, thus subject to summary execution under Sharia Law, and secondly because they were Americans.

Yet, today nearly all of the voices from the Left, and their front group, the Democratic Party, choose not to focus on the victims, the terrorist or the blood stained failure of their approach in dealing with radical Islam. Instead they are using this tragedy to unabashedly pursue one of their primary ideological objectives: the de facto repeal of the Second Amendment.

These demagogues never miss an opportunity, regardless of circumstance, to attack the last bastion of freedom they have yet to dramatically diminish -- unfettered gun ownership.

The victims of this latest atrocity were everyday rank and file members of the gay and lesbian community, which the Left long ago adopted as pawns in their quest for power. The dead and wounded are now merely viewed as opportune fatalities in the larger stratagem of eradicating individual freedom and opportunity with the endgame being the permanent ascension to oligarchical power of the progressive cabal.

With the exception of a dictatorial and ruthless political leader, the American Left is no different than their counterparts in Italy and Germany during the 1920’s and 30’s. After abridging freedom of speech and assembly, manipulating the media, dominating the education establishment, and controlling, with regulations and taxes, the national economy, the National Socialists in Italy and Germany made certain the citizenry was disarmed by forcibly confiscating their firearms. The people, as they lived in nations that did not allow gun ownership, were powerless to stop the inexorable seizure of power.

Many on the Left will say I am trafficking in hyperbole that they merely want to pass “common sense” gun control laws (as only they define “common sense”) and to make life in these United States more “equitable” (as only they define “equitable”). However, observing and living through their single-minded ascension to power over the past 50 years as well as my life’s experience informs me that I am not embellishing the potential consequence of their objectives.

As a young boy living on the streets of a destroyed city in post-War Europe, I was shot by a man whose clear intent was to kill me. I had deliberately, by throwing broken bricks at him, interrupted his attempt to rape a teen-aged girl, allowing her to escape. To this day I can still see the evil in his face and the sun glistening off the barrel of his pistol as turned toward me and aimed the weapon in my direction. As I turned and began to run away he fired. The bullet entering my chest felt as if someone had hit me with a baseball bat, followed immediately by an excruciating burning sensation as I fell to the ground from the impact. Perhaps it was the adrenaline, but I was able to scramble to my feet and run as far as I could until finally passing out from the shock and loss of blood. Fortunately, someone eventually came to my rescue and took me to a military hospital -- and the first step on my odyssey to the United States and ultimate citizenship.

According to the current iteration of the American Left, who traffic constantly in victimhood (when convenient), I should be a willing pawn in the vanguard of the mandatory gun control and confiscation movement. That somehow it was this inanimate object this soldier was holding and not him that was responsible for the attempt on my life or to ignore the fact that his mindset was such he would have used any weapon at hand to accomplish the same goal.

On the contrary, I own a handgun today because of coming face-to face-with the evil that permeates some men’s souls. I and the girl I rescued were defenseless. There were no police or armed citizens around and the death of another homeless, displaced and unknown boy and girl, buried in an unmarked mass grave, would have been just another easily ignored casualty of the post-War period. I was determined that I would never again face a similar circumstance. I have had firearms in my possession for virtually my entire life, as I have been fortunate to live in the one nation on earth that has embedded in its founding documents the right to bear arms.

However, I also recognized that this right is, in many ways, the foundational basis of preserving and protecting freedom of speech, religion, assembly and private property ownership. In order for the American Left to establish a socialist oligarchy that foundational basis must be dramatically eroded along with individual freedom.

Those ego-centrics that self-identify as progressives, leftists, fascists, socialists or Marxists, have one overwhelming trait in common: they are narcissists who believe they are pre-ordained to rule the masses too ignorant to govern themselves. In order to achieve that end, no tactic is beneath consideration and no crisis can be allowed to go to waste as they make certain an ever-increasing percentage of the population becomes permanently indentured to the government they intend on controlling in perpetuity.

Over the 240-year history of the United States, this nation has encountered many crises as well as unethical and unscrupulous political factions. However, the Left and the Democratic Party of today is the most dangerous, unprincipled and deceitful clique in this nation’s history. They are very capable of succeeding in permanently tearing this nation asunder. Any group that can so callously dismiss Islamic terrorism, consciously pit citizen against citizen, irresponsibly promise Nirvana, exploit various ethnic blocs as sacrificial pawns in their self-serving game and deliberately undermine individual freedom in order to achieve their devious ends are essentially no different than those ultimately responsible for the carnage extant in the mid-20th century.

As a displaced survivor of those times, I find the tactics of the American Left to be reprehensible and their objectives beneath contempt.

Those determined to take away or limit my right to own a firearm and to transform the greatest nation in the history of mankind will not succeed, as I, and many millions throughout the length and breadth of America, will not be intimidated.

Default Under God's Control

UNDER GOD’S CONTROL
David Wilkerson

In these last days, the Lord’s eye is not fixed on world powers but on the church of Jesus Christ. God is not focused on the economy, on the rise of world religions, on the roaring of the heathen. According to Isaiah, the nations are to God “as a drop of a bucket” (Isaiah 40:15). They are all under His sovereign rule and reign.

God knows all about terrorist threats, wars and rumors of wars. His Word warns that the heathen will rage, secular powers will try to outlaw Christianity, and fast-growing, anti-Christ movements will boast they’ll rule the world and destroy Jesus’ followers. The Bible says this about it all:

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us” (Psalm 2:2–3). In short, “Let’s cast away all moral hindrances, all moral landmarks of the past.”

Here is God’s reaction to these earthly powers and demon-influenced men: “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision” (2:4). No matter how desperate things look, everything remains under God’s full control.

I’m thankful for this word from the Psalms. More and more, we hear reports of secularism wiping out the evangelical church in Europe; of Islam being the fastest growing religion in the world; of homosexuals hijacking entire denominations; of Christ’s church growing so weak it no longer has any impact on society. Yet God’s Word declares, “On Christ the Rock God will build His church.”

“The gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). Nothing from the bowels of hell can hope to destroy Christ’s church. His eye is always on His people, and through everything He warns Satan and his hordes, “Do not touch the apple of My eye.”

“Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake” (Isaiah 54:15). Do you see what God is saying here? “The devil is going to come at you. Enemies out of hell will gather together against you. But Satan will not succeed.”

United States of America McCarran-Walter Act of 1952

McCarran-Walter Act of 1952

Very interesting Bit of Legislative History: McCarran-Walter Act of 1952
Donald Trump was recently severely criticized for suggesting that the U.S. should limit or temporarily suspend the immigration of certain ethnic groups, nationalities, and even people of certain religions (Muslims). The criticisms condemned such a suggestion as, among other things, being “Un-American,” dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous and racist. Congressmen and Senators swore that they would never allow such legislation, and Obama called such a prohibition on immigration unconstitutional (as if, all of a sudden, he gives a damn about the Constitution).

As Gomer Pyle would say, “Surprise, Surprise!!!” It seems that the selective immigration ban is already law and has been applied on several occasions. The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, a.k.a., the McCarran-Walter Act allows for the "Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by the president (something which we haven't had for the past seven and a half years). Whenever the president finds that the entry of aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

Note that McCarran and Walter were Democrats and this act was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States … but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a bunch. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States in 1979. You won't hear a word about this from the liberal media, propaganda machine.

Default Coming Out On The Victory Side

COMING OUT ON THE VICTORY SIDE
Gary Wilkerson

Here’s the really good news! Jesus wants to put in you the same Spirit that lives in Him — the same Spirit that gave Him the power to pass right through the enemy’s plans to cast Him off the edge of the cliff (see Luke 4:29-30).

Perhaps addiction has crushed you; the habits of sin have led you to failure; fear and anxiety have caused you to fall into despair. But when Jesus puts “the same Spirit” within you, you can pass right through and declare, “This thing won’t touch me. I might be in a fire but I won’t be burned. I’m coming out alive. I’m coming out on the victory side. I’m not going to be pushed off into things that God doesn’t have for me. I’m going to stay in the firm place where He has set me.”

You may feel pressure all over you but the Lord has given me a word to give to you. And attached to it is a prophetic promise. I said to the Lord, “I’m going to be very cautious about this because sometimes false prophecies come forth that say everything is going to be rosy and bright.” So I’m not saying that to you. There will be difficulties and pressure. There may be plans formed against you, pushing you toward the cliff, toward the edge, but I have an assuring word for you.

If you trust in Jesus, if you wait upon the Lord, if you will hear His message and not listen to the enemy’s voice, you will pass right through the storm in complete victory. You will pass right through the fire. You will pass through every pressure, everything that comes against you — in the name of Jesus.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you” (Isaiah 43:2, ESV).

Default In Dreams And Visions

IN DREAMS AND VISIONS
David Wilkerson

In nations everywhere, Christ is revealing Himself to multitudes in dreams and visions. People in Arab nations, China and India are reporting their experiences with Jesus in dreams. It is even happening here in New York City.

One of our security men here at Times Square Church was once New York’s third-ranking high priest in Santeria devil worship. His territory was the Bronx, and his apartment was filled with human bones. He had sold himself body and soul to Satan. But this man’s heart was stirred by the Holy Spirit and he became restless. One night he challenged Jesus, “If You are stronger than the devil I serve, show me in a dream tonight.”

That night in a dream, the man saw himself on a train bound for hell. It passed through a tunnel and on the other side stood Satan. The devil told the man, “You have been faithful to me. Now I’m taking you to your eternal resting place.” Then suddenly, a cross appeared. At that moment, the man woke up.

He came out of that experience on fire for Jesus! Ridding his apartment of every trace of evil, he dedicated his life to the Lord. Today, he is a sweet, devout man of God and is active in our church. I stopped him recently and told him, “I see Jesus in you.” He answered, “Brother Dave, you don’t realize what those words mean to me after twenty-five years of serving the devil.” His miraculous new life had all come out of that God-given dream.

Dear saint, the day is coming when the whole world will see Jesus. The apostle John envisioned “a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9–10).

This is not a little remnant, but an innumerable multitude and they are all worshiping the Lord. Praise God for that promised day!

Default The God Who Interferes

THE GOD WHO INTERFERES
Gary Wilkerson

“Once when he was in the synagogue, a man possessed by a demon—an evil spirit—cried out, shouting, ‘Go away! Why are you interfering?’” (Luke 4:33-34, NLT).

I love this word—interfere—that appears in this translation.

You might want to underline that in your Bible if you have a translation that uses the word “interfere” or, if not, write it down in your notes. The God who interferes—who looks at your crisis, your need—and instead of standing on the sidelines worrying and anxious, He interferes in the problems you have in your life.

Jesus interferes with the satanic plans that are formed against you. If it weren’t for the interference of Jesus, Satan would have free access to you. The power of sin and sickness and tribulation would have such freedom in your life that you’d not be able to stand. But Jesus loves you, Jesus cares for you, and when Satan comes with his intended plans to throw you off, He interferes.

“No,” He says. “No, this is not going to happen! I’m going to cause this brother, this sister to stand.”

When you are afraid, when you feel like you are going to fail, when the intentions of the evil one are coming at you from all around, be assured that Jesus will interfere. He’s going to bring things to an end.

Jesus interfered with this demonic man, and there’s so much that He wants to interfere with in your life. Maybe you’re walking in willful disobedience and rebellion to God. His grace is going to interfere and call you back. Maybe you’ve become lukewarm and you have a half-hearted faith. Jesus wants to interfere with that and draw you back. Maybe your concern is a family member and you feel that it’s hopeless; you don’t see any way possible for breakthrough. Jesus interferes in all these things.

So Satan is coming at you—just like we read about Jesus at the side of the cliff, intending to throw Him off. There’s an intended plan by Satan against your life and Jesus comes and interferes with it. You can say, “Praise God” to that if you want, because that’s extremely good news.

United States of America Orlando-Judge Napolitano: “Nobody died until 05:13 in the morning”

Judge: FBI Transcript Shows Nobody Died in Orlando Shooting Until SWAT Teams entered the Building

What should have been front page news everywhere, somehow got buried amid the official narrative we were given about the Orlando shooting. Judge Andrew Napolitano told FOX News that an FBI transcript indicated that no one died until 05:13am Sunday morning when the police SWAT teams entered the building.
“Here’s what is news in the summary – nobody died until 05:13 in the morning, when the SWAT team entered. Prior to that no one had been killed. The 53 that were injured, and the 49 that were murdered all met their fates at the time of, and during, the police entry into the building,” Judge Napolitano said.

Consider that the narrative we have been given was that Omar Mateen entered the club around 02:00am on Sunday morning to begin his killing spree, so why was no one actually killed until 05:13am, over three hours later?
Here’s the official transcript.

So, this makes one question why the 911 call transcripts are being redacted and why the people are not being told the truth across the media about what really took place.
We have been told that 5 to 6 police officers were already in the club for 15 to 20 minutes or more prior to the SWAT teams’ entering.
So, what is the truth here? Some claim that 05:13am is the time of death, but how is that when that suspect was not even down until 05:15am? Could it be that some of the people in the club were shot by the SWAT team or by Mateen? With nearly50 people dead and more wounded, how was Mateen able to get off that many shots? I’m really curious.
If that was not enough, police officers have even admitted that they may have killed some of the people. WFAA reports:

Monday, Orlando Police Chief John Mina and other law enforcement officers offered new details about the shooting, including the possibility that some victims may have been killed by officers trying to save them.
“I will say this, that’s all part of the investigation,” Mina said. “But I will say when our SWAT officers, about eight or nine officers, opened fire, the backdrop was a concrete wall, and they were being fired upon.”
A law enforcement source close to the investigation who asked not to be named said a crowd of up to 300 people and the complex layout of the dance club may have resulted in some patrons being struck by gunfire from officers.

Default A Cup Of Trembling

A CUP OF TREMBLING
David Wilkerson

The Lord never intended for His people to live in panic or trembling in fear. Even in the Old Testament, the Lord had a people who trusted in His promises and were unmoved by the chaos all around them. We see this in the life of the prophet Habakkuk, a man given a vision of “the end” (Habakkuk 2:3).

Habakkuk saw a people in the last days who would wear themselves out pursuing greed and covetousness. According to his vision, a dreadful spirit of violence would prevail in that time (see 1:9). Habakkuk said of it all: “The cup of the Lord’s right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory” (2:16).

We know that a prophet always speaks to his own generation first. Yet, according to Habakkuk himself, this prophetic word is also meant for our generation. He tells us, “The vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie” (2:3, my italics). Habakkuk was seeing a cup of trembling: “When I heard, my belly trembled . . . I trembled in myself” (3:16).

Here was a godly, praying prophet who for a season was so overwhelmed by awful events that even he trembled. But the Spirit came upon Habakkuk, causing him to prophesy: “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls; yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places” (3:17–19).

God removed the cup of trembling from His servant Habakkuk. And He will do likewise with all His faithful ones today.

Default The Leap Of Faith

THE LEAP OF FAITH
David Wilkerson

It is possible for us to stir and rouse ourselves, so that we ask, “Why am I so fearful? Why am I on this roller coaster of up-and-down despair? Why does the future cause panic in my soul?”

This has happened because we have not fully committed our lives, our families, our health, our jobs, our homes into God’s faithful hands. We have not made the leap of faith that determines, “My Lord is true and faithful. Though I have failed countless times, He has never failed me. Come what may, I will cast my life and future into His care.”

How are we able to do this? By embracing this word He has given us: “Thus saith thy Lord the Lord, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again” (Isaiah 51:22). He is saying, in essence, “I am not asleep. I am the same God who opened the Red Sea, who raises the dead, and who has made provision for you. My people are not meant to live in bondage to fear.”

The cup of trembling is removed when we wake up to our need to accept God’s Word. As we take this stand of faith, we will face sudden jolts of fear. But we are to stand up to those fears—to lay hold of God’s promises and be fully persuaded that He is able to keep what we have committed to Him. Then we will drink no more of the wine of despair.

The fact is, the darker the days become, the more God’s people must live by such faith. Otherwise, we make God out to be a liar whenever we panic and fear. As once reported in a story in Newsweek, a teenage girl demonstrated such faith powerfully. A plane flying from Newark to Paris flew into heavy turbulence, and the passengers became panic-stricken and began screaming. Amidst it all, the sixteen-year-old girl sat buckled in her seat, quietly reading her Bible. Later, when she was asked why she wasn’t afraid when everyone around her was trembling in fear, she replied, “My Bible promised me that God would take care of me. So I just prayed and trusted.”

The remnant… are in great affliction and reproach: the wall … is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. Nehemiah 1:3

Rick Warren is the founding pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. Author of bestselling books such as The Purpose-Driven Life and The Purpose-Driven Church, Warren created Pastors.com and the Ministry Toolbox. These excerpts are from his "A Leaders Prayer Life:"

You can learn a lot about a person by the kind of prayer he prays. For instance, selfish prayer reveals a selfish spirit. Have you heard a prayer that sounds like a Christmas list -- I want this, and I want that? Some try to impress you with their prayers, yet come off as arrogant and prideful.

For leaders, there's a model prayer in Nehemiah, Chapter1. When Nehemiah first heard about the downfall of Jerusalem, he prayed for four months. This was not a casual prayer. It gives us a pattern for successful praying. To know how to pray, study the book of Nehemiah -- particularly this prayer. Here are four secrets to answered prayer from the life of Nehemiah:

1. Base your request on God's character. Pray like you know God will answer you: "I'm expecting you to answer this prayer because of who you are. You are a faithful God. You are a great God. You are a loving God. You are a wonderful God. You can handle this problem, God!"

Nehemiah says, "God, I want you to do something back over in Jerusalem. Verse 5 says, "O Lord God of Heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and obey his command." Nehemiah said three things about God: 1. You're great -- that's God's position. 2. You're awesome -- that shows his power. 3. You keep your promises -- God's covenant.

The first thing Nehemiah did was to acknowledge who God is. That's what praise is. Acknowledge who God is and his greatness. He starts off by getting the right perspective. Say, "God, I want you to answer because of who you are. You've given us all of these promises. You are a faithful God, a loving God, a merciful God" -- all the Bible tells us he is. Base your request on God's character.

2. Confess the sin in my life. After Nehemiah based his prayer on who God is, he confessed his sins. He says, "We've sinned." Look at how many times he uses the word "I" and "we." He says "I confess ... myself ... my father's house ... we have acted wickedly ... we have not obeyed." It wasn't Nehemiah's fault they went into captivity. He wasn't even born when this happened 70 years earlier. Yet he is including himself in the national sins. He says, "I've been a part of the problem." There is personal confession and a national confession. This is something we don't know anything about. We don't have a corporate sense in America today… We're taught to confess my sins. When did you last confess the sins of the nation? Of your family? Your church? Your friends? Our society has taught us we're only responsible for ourselves. That's not true! You are your brother's keeper...

3. Claim the promises of God. Nehemiah is praying to the Lord, "Remember what you told your servant Moses." He's reminding God what he had said… God, you warned us through Moses that if we were unfaithful we would lose the land of Israel. But you also promised that if we repent, you'd give it back to us. All through the Bible you find God's people reminding God about what he said he wants to do. David did, Abraham did, Moses and all the prophets did. Must God be reminded? No. Does he forget what he's promised? No. Then why do we do this? It helps us remember what God has promised. Nothing pleases God more that when you remind God of one of his promises.

4. Be very specific in what I ask for. If you want specific answers to prayer you need to make specific requests. If you make general prayers, how will you know if they are answered?

Nehemiah is not hesitant to pray for success. He's very bold. Have you ever prayed, "Lord, make me successful!" If you haven't, why not? What is the alternative? Failure? There is nothing wrong with praying for success if what you're doing is for the glory of God. Pray boldly. Pray that God will make you successful in life for the glory of God. Nehemiah did. This is a valid prayer. If you can't ask God to make you a success at what you're doing, you should be doing something else. God doesn't want you to waste your life. (Pastor Rick Warren, Christian Post , 9-6-06, edited).

Like ancient Jerusalem, America's spiritual walls are broken down. Our cultural institutions are deteriorating. Only God, through His people with biblical faith, who pray like Nehemiah, can turn things around.

The U.S. Supreme Court Abortion Clinic Ruling -- In a shocking 5-3 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court abandoned the Constitution, legal precedent and all semblance of the rule of law to reinforce the unfettered right to abortion. Specifically, they ruled that states may not regulate abortion clinics with extremely reasonable regulations to protect the health and safety of women. In essence, the court judged that the motive of the people of Texas was to restrict abortion and not to provide for "women's health." They struck down the common sense and compassionate requirements that abortion doctors have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital in case of a client's health crisis and that surgical abortion clinics meet the health and safety regulations of all other surgical clinics. Liberals who speak of the "War on Women" need to turn their fire on the Court! Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood (who receives a half-billion of our tax dollars and in turn donates to politicians who help them maintain their government funding) and Kermit Gosnell-like abortion peddlers can relax. The Supreme Court has your back!

May we elect a president and Congress who will nominate and confirm Justices who value the lives and health of women and children to the U.S. Supreme Court. May He intervene to end abortion and save our nation! ( Joel 2:32 ; 1 Chr 21:13 ; 2 Sam 23:3 ; Ps 144:3-6 ; Mt 28:18-20 ; 2 Pet 3:9 ).
Transgender Military -- On July 1, the Department of Defense will lift the ban on Military service for those who identify as transgendered. The military will enlist and our military academies will enroll transgender persons to serve in every military capacity. Former Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates confessed that the only time President Barack Obama showed any passion for military issues was when he led the fight to overturn Don't Ask, Don't Tell (2010). Just as FRC warned, the overturn of DADT was just the beginning. President Obama has continued to impose his sexual ideology despite warnings from military experts, FRC, and others. The results have been predictable. Since DADT was overturned, the overall sexual assault statistics have radically escalated. Now President Obama wants to experiment with transgenderism. This experiment will bring a host of new problems and costs to a cash-strapped military and will further harm morale and readiness. There will be barracks issues, issues with uniforms, bathroom and shower issues, but most important will be the harm to readiness.

A few liberal-leaning nations allow transgenders in their militaries, but none of them are enemies to the U.S. The prestige and respect of the U.S. military has been a huge victim to these policies. For generations feared by our enemies, the U.S. military has become a laughing stock! Despite being obviously deleterious to good order and discipline, despite reducing military effectiveness, and despite that it will cost American lives, the administration presses on!

May God deliver us from the ideologies that complicate our ability to defend our homeland, that are detrimental our military discipline, and that weaken our troops readiness to defend our homeland and defeat our enemies abroad. May our military cease to be a laboratory for unnatural social experiments and our troops the guinea pigs! ( Josh 22:20 ; 1 Chr 12:32-33 ; Ps 127:1 ; Pr 1:7 ; 9:10 ; 1 Tim 6:20 ; 1 John 4:1 )
Finally, we are in a 2 Chronicles 20:12 moment. It seems we are surrounded by ideological enemies that seek to destroy from us every vestige of biblical truth, faith, morality and thus the knowledge of Jesus Christ. We must fight and after we have done all, to stand (Eph 6:10-20). But our first line of action is prayer! Call2Fall will take place this coming Sunday, July 3! Will you be joining us and churches across America on our knees in humble repentance, beseeching our Heavenly Father to extend mercy to our nation, asking Him to revive our churches and to awaken our fellow citizens? Have you signed up? Please rush to do so. Urge your pastor to lead your church, or join family and friends to pray at home. We have little time to turn the tide in our nation! America must not go the way of nations throughout history that have similarly defied our Maker and experienced the dire consequences (Dt 28: all; 2 Chr 7:14; Ps 9:17; Joel 2:12-18).

Thank you for praying!
Sincerely,

Rev. Pierre Bynum
Chaplain & National Prayer Director

Default God Is A Refuge For Us

GOD IS A REFUGE FOR US
David Wilkerson

Right now, the world is heading into great turbulence. There will be events and chaos that naturally bring fear. But God has said to us, “My Word is in you. You are covered under the shadow of My hand. And YOU ARE MY CHILD.” It is time for us to fasten our seatbelt, open our Bible and talk to our Father through it all. He has said we are not going down: “I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved” (Acts 2:25).

I urge you to make this powerful word from Isaiah your own:

“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

“Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God? Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding.

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:26–31).

Our communion with Him gives birth to trust. By pouring out to the Lord our needs, our worries, we come away with His rest and assurance. “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us” (Psalm 62:8).

United States of America Dear Praying Friends

Dear Praying Friends,

In our days the Lord is shaking everything that can be shaken so that the true value of the things that cannot be shaken will be clearly understood. God says "I am the Lord, I change not" (Mal. 3:6). Many people are desperate for REAL answers and have become open to the unchanging Truth of God's Word. Current events and history seem to be trumpeting out the urgent message that "it is time to seek the Lord" (Hos. 10:12). In fact, it is way past time! Our land seems ripe for the imminent judgment of God. Who is foolish enough to deny that? But where are the voices of those crying out in the night watches of prayer and then heralding out what they have heard from Him to the people?

It seems that restraint has been thrown to the wind and human society is speeding down "the way of all flesh" to oblivion. Warnings abound on every side, and the scriptural symptoms of divine displeasure flood our news media every day. Everyone can sense it and has a deep awareness that "trouble is coming." These harbingers of impending judgment are seen as "problems" that man must solve, but the Bible says that "vain is the help of man" (Psa. 108:12). There will be no healing from the wounds of sin except from the Lord Himself. Our only hope will be found "in the Name of the Lord". The church must recover the revelation of God as He is, and then prayerfully and humbly turn radically to Him. We need revival! Otherwise America will soon follow the example of all the nations that have gone before hat are no longer nations...because they "forgot God." God's mercy will follow genuine repentance and sincere faith. It is our privilege to trumpet this message in the churches and to God's people.

In the days of Isaiah the people of God were languishing because they had turned from the reality of authentic intimacy with God. They were perplexed by the ongoing "difficulties" and lack of blessing that their carnality had caused. They came to Isaiah and asked him to inquire of the Lord why things were not getting better. God spoke a word to Isaiah that he gave to the people. We would do well to meditate on it. Read Isaiah 59:1-15 and see it as a stirring indictment of their day...and ours.

God desires to show mercy and spoke verse 16 to them stating that He was "astonished" that there was no intercessor. He repeats this in Isaiah 63:5. Authentic intercession and effectual prayer by God's people is what God has chosen and is waiting for to put in "the scales of justice" and stop imminent judgment when His holiness demands it!

Only prayer offered at the Mercy Seat "In Jesus' Name" can avert the certain judgment that His holiness requires when there is sin among God's people, or in the land. As we "stand in the gap for the land" and stand with Jesus in His present ministry of prayer God often shows mercy. In Ezekiel's day the Lord made these same principles of judgment very clear. Just read prayerfully the words of God in Ezekiel 22:23-31. Moses literally saved the nation over and over by his mighty intercessions on their behalf.

"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Heb. 4:16). Let us pray! The Lord waits to be gracious.

Default Re: Land Of Faith

GOD IS GETTING READY TO DO SOMETHING SO HUGE, IT WILL BLOW OUR MINDS!
2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

The economy. Brexit. Terrorist attacks. Warnings of massive earthquakes (the Cascadia Subduction Zone, San Andreas, and the New Madrid). Tsunamis. Strange weather. Sexual sin, including the homosexual agenda. Abortion and planned parenthood. The list is so massive, it could go on an on! What is happening? Or better, what is ‘about’ to happen? Are we so blinded that we can’t see the hand of God’s coming judgement moving toward this nation, the world? Do we think ourselves better than the generations before us who have grossly sinned against God and were judged for their sin and disobedience?

When an entire nation refuses to repent, it’s time for the Body of Christ to wake up, rise up and repent for becoming lackadaisical and for remaining silent when the truth needs told! God will hold the world accountable for its sins and the church accountable for hers! And the church will be held more accountable than the world because she knew better than to commit adultery against God! While the groom has been away, the bride has been in bed with the enemy and she has been fornicating against Christ! Well I’ve got news for you, Mrs. Jesus. Your husband is on His way home for the wedding, and you’d best rise up from out of your bed of adultery fast because He’s coming for a spotless bride dressed in white and right now, that sure isn’t you! What are you going to do when the door flies open and you are caught in the very act of sin you promised you would never commit? You had better repent now and tell the enemy goodbye because here is what your groom will say if He comes and finds you anything less than expected:

Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

And…

Revelation 3:15-16 5 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

And…

Ephesians 5:27 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

God’s patience has run out with this nation, and so now He is calling upon His church to fall down on her face with a sorrowful heart and change her wicked ways! It is OUR job to speak the truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God! We are to never, ever sacrifice the truth regardless of money, shame, embarrassment, political correctness, laws, or anything else whatsoever! We must win the lost at any cost! We must speak truth because the truth is what will set the captives free, including yourself! If you’re not speaking the truth boldly with love, then maybe that is why you’re having nothing but problems in your life. Not speaking the truth is a great sin and allows open doors in your very spirit to the kingdom of hell! You are giving the enemy free reign, but now that you’ve heard what must be done, it’s time to slam the door in Satan’s face!

Get him out now, in Jesus name! Get him out of your life, out of your home, out of your family and out of your church before it is TOO LATE! This is a call from the Most High God, the Spirit of our Lord within me! Yes, this is a ‘Thus Saith the Lord of Hosts’! God is calling for revival in His church! God is calling for His bride to saddle up for battle and to kick the imposter out of her bed! Jesus is coming! Jesus is coming! I can’t shout it any louder! Bathe yourself, you filthy bride, and be clean in Jesus’ name! Wash the dirt and filth from off your dress and then lift your hands in praise as a sign that you are free from the bondages of Hell! The nations will not return to the Lord, but in the name of Jesus Christ, His people will! Bring on the fire of the Holy Spirit! We are victors and conquerors and the war is already won! Do not be afraid, says the Lord! Do not be afraid! Be bold as fierce, mighty lions and let all the earth hear you roar!

Not sure what I’m talking about? Or, do you think it’s just another conspiracy? My friend, watch the below videos and see for yourself, and get ready because time is of the essence!

LYN LEAHZ

Psa 91:1 Whoever goes to the LORD for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,
Psa 91:2 can say to him, "You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust."
Psa 91:3 He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases.
Psa 91:4 He will cover you with his wings; you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you.
Psa 91:5 You need not fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day
Psa 91:6 or the plagues that strike in the dark or the evils that kill in daylight.
Psa 91:7 A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you, but you will not be harmed.
Psa 91:8 You will look and see how the wicked are punished.
Psa 91:9 You have made the LORD your defender, the Most High your protector,
Psa 91:10 and so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home.
Psa 91:11 God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go.
Psa 91:12 They will hold you up with their hands to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones.
Psa 91:13 You will trample down lions and snakes, fierce lions and poisonous snakes.
Psa 91:14 God says, "I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as LORD.
Psa 91:15 When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them. I will rescue them and honor them.
Psa 91:16 I will reward them with long life; I will save them."

Default re: Power of Prayer >No Matter Which Faith You Follow=GOD is With You

I really like this and haven't thought of it in this way, but we must not only pray for healing but ask God to destroy the pain, suffering, disease, or darkness in one's life. To destroy something is to completely do away with it......

HE DESTROYS THE POWERS OF DARKNESS

Gary Wilkerson

As Jesus was teaching in the synagogue, a man possessed by an evil spirit cried out, “Why are you interfering with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us?” (Luke 4:33, NLT).

Look at that question, “Have you come to destroy us?” Now we’re really hitting a home run here, because Jesus doesn’t just interfere, He destroys.

I am so blessed to hear the word “destroyed” in this text because if something is just interfered with, my fear is that it might come back. Has anybody ever had anything that went away and then came back? Last year at this time I said I was going to lose twenty pounds. Well, I lost twenty pounds and then I gained it all back—plus five more. So for me, interfering is insufficient. I need the thing destroyed, how about you?

We thank God that He interferes, but most of all we are glad He destroys the works of the enemy. Jesus said, “I came to destroy the works of the evil one.” If a whole plan was written against you in the pit of hell, He would not just interfere with it, like cross off one point, but He would take that plan, tear it into a thousand pieces, and throw it into the fire. Satan would ask, “What did you do with my plan, my intentions to destroy this person’s life?”

“The Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil” (see 1 John 3:8).

Jesus destroys what was aimed at destroying you, did you know that? He’s there to destroy the powers of darkness in your life.

PEACE, PEACE!
David Wilkerson

“I create the fruit of thy lips; peace, peace” (Isaiah 57:19). This is one of the most encouraging promises in God’s Word. The Lord says He will drive out from us the spirit of fear and implant in us His supernatural spirit of peace. Isaiah repeats the word “peace” here to emphasize that it is a continual peace.

The Holy Spirit promises, “I will create peace in you.” Once we experience this peace, it will become a creative word that flows out of our lips to others.

There comes a time in each of our lives when we become totally exhausted by all the problems swirling around us—personal problems that that may involve family, friends, our job, our finances. We become exhausted from all the heartbreaking “bad news” calls that come, crises that seem to be spinning out of control.

So how do we appropriate this miraculous, omnipotent creation of peace?

First, we must admit that all our fears are caused by unbelief because we have not fully trusted the power of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

The Spirit of God is the absolute fullness of divine love: all-caring, like a mother; greater in power than all principalities in hell; knowing all things. Yet, even though we know this, we often sit in the Spirit’s presence murmuring and complaining, thinking the way abandoned children do.

I tell you, no believer can be healed of the spirit of fear—or find peace—until he or she commits all things into the Spirit’s loving hands. We must give up all to His will, trusting that “He who lives in me is greater than he that is in the world” (see 1 John 4:4).

LETTING THE PEACE OF GOD RULE
David Wilkerson

God, by His Spirit, creates peace—He causes it to happen—and He creates it in you.

I’m not just talking about peace with God. The peace He creates in you is peace of mind, a peace that springs up and flows within, healing, stabilizing, building confidence.

When you have such peace, you stop trying to play God. You stop trying to solve your problems and everyone else’s. You stop playing over in your mind what might happen, what fearful thing might come to pass.

Instead, you bring every thought into captivity. You are able to do this because you stand in the peace God has created in you. You begin to trust and accept His love and you start believing the promises of His Word.

Beloved, I urge you to ask the Spirit for a greater measure of faith concerning His love for you. Ask Him to create in you a greater flow of God’s peace. His peace will come supernaturally, miraculously, when you have yielded all to Him. Then the Lord will bring forth His peace as the fruit of your lips.

True peace can’t be faked; the world recognizes it when it is in someone. The Holy Spirit will make His peace in your life known to those around you. It won’t be your peace that speaks to them, but the Spirit’s. It will move them, causing them to ask you for prayer, prayer that will touch them and bring healing.

As the gathering clouds cause fear in the world, may God’s people walk according to this word from Paul: “Let the peace of God rule in your hearts” (Colossians 3:15).

IN A DANGEROUS PLACE
David Wilkerson

Some of you going through difficult situations are in a dangerous place with your faith.

I must ask: Have you allowed seeds of unbelief into your heart? Do you have serious questions regarding God’s faithfulness? Instead of worshiping Him, do you doubt Him?

“Lord, why haven’t You intervened for me? Why have You allowed such confusion in my marriage, my family? You have put on me more than I’m able to bear.” Such an attitude can lead to a hardened heart and eventually spiritual deadness.

The apostle Paul exhorted Timothy, “Endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2 Timothy 2:3). The Greek word for hardness here indicates suffering, difficult afflictions. What does Paul say to Timothy about these things? “Endure them, son! You are a soldier in the Lord’s army. You’ve been trained to undergo hardship in spiritual battle.”

We see this reflected in the Old Testament as well. We are told, “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9, my italics). The Hebrew word for perfect in this verse means “wholly given to Him in trust.”

God looks down upon the whole earth, searching diligently for that man or woman of faith who is given to Him in complete trust.

Whenever the Lord finds such a servant, He says of that person, “This beloved one is holding fast to his faith and confidence in Me. Therefore, I will show Myself strong to him. He’s going to know My power and see My strong arm revealed on his behalf.”
