Armed and Deadly: Police UK - Manhunt Crime Documentary

Documentary series looking at operations carried out by the UK's armed police officers combining footage from missions, news coverage and interviews with the officers.

The series that tells the story of what it means to be an armed officer in modern day Britain amid the ongoing threat of terror, gang-related and other potentially life-threatening attacks they face on a daily basis.

Hearing from Britains most experienced armed officers and elite response teams, the series will lift the lid on what it is really like to fire a deadly weapon.

The programme follows operations carried out by armed response teams, combining real footage from the missions with news coverage of the aftermath, and testimony from the officers themselves.

Officers are encouraged to explore the psychological and emotional effects of their life-and-death decisions, and explain how their repercussions become etched into their everyday lives.
