(relents-To become more lenient, compassionate, or forgiving.)
You have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. James 5:11
Master Jesus, you reveal God’s boundless love. Bring near your great salvation! Break our hearts that we may see the tribulations of others and show them compassion, love, and grace, in order to serve and love you best of all. Amen.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
