Default Let Us Pray......

Our Dear Heavenly Father;
You are holy and most worthy of all our praise! Your love, mercy, patience and kindness flow down to us like a never-ending river. 0 Heavenly Father, as we immerse ourselves in Your blessings , remind us to be grateful and to give You all the honor, glory and praise.

Father, You desire Your children to be faithful and obedient - to put You first in their lives. In humbleness we must confess that is not always the case. The burdens and the responsibilities of the world , along with our own weaknesses , often lead us to give in to the temptations of this world. Forgive us for our weakness as we sin against You. Cause us to seek You out and to come to You so that we may confess our sins and ask forgiveness of them. We trust in Your promise to forgive us and restore us, for You are a God who keeps His word.

Heavenly Father, You established the church to be the organization that functions as Your hands, feet and mouth to this world . Yet Your church is often divided and irritated. It must grieve You deeply to see us bickering amongst ourselves . So Lord, we ask You to touch our hearts and transform them. With Your non-negotiable Truths , help us to be unbending, but when it comes to the non-essentials , help us to be loving , caring and understanding with each other.

Cause us to have so much trust, so much obedience and so much passion for You that we become willing to risk:
-risk being bold in our faith for You ;
-risk reaching out to others in true Christian fellowship;
-and risk using what we have and what we are for You and Your Kingdom

Thank You Lord for all that You do . We pray in Your Son's name.
Amen

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
