The Rock’s role in Cobra Strikes is confirmed.

Dwayne Johnson will play Roadblock in G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes.
He tweeted: “It’s official: Call the Pentagon, get me my big ass gun – Rocks a JOE!.”
The wrestler turned actor has officially signed up to the
G.I. Joe sequel, which will be directed by Jon Chu.
After a slew of popular but critically mauled family flicks, it seems as though Johnson is throwing himself wholeheartedly back into action movies, such as recent efforts
Faster and
Fast Five.
He's rumoured to be joining Channing Tatum, Lee Byung-hun and Ray Park, the only actors expected to reprise their roles from the first film.
G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes is due for release next summer.
