F1 to Start Races in Azerbaijan in 2016
Formula One Heads to Azerbaijan for the First Time as Season Grows to Record 21 Races Next Year
- FIA release provisional calendar for 2016 season, with 21 races
- First ever race in Baku, Azerbaijan will be held in July 2016
- German Grand Prix - dropped from 2015 season - set to return

The Formula One season is scheduled to include a record 21 races next year.
The FIA on Friday released a provisional calendar for the 2016 campaign, including the inaugural race in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 17 July.
It also features a return for the German Grand Prix, which was dropped from the 2015 calendar.
World Champions Lewis Hamilton and his competitors will head to Azerbaijan for the first time in 2016
Formula One is also returning to Germany, where Nico Rosberg won his home Grand Prix last year
The season is due to get under way in Australia on April 3 and finish in Abu Dhabi on 27 November.
The British Grand Prix is scheduled for 26 June.
The FIA made the announcement following a meeting of its World Motor Sport Council in Mexico City.
