OSCAR Nominations>No Black/Latino Actors on 'Luvvie List'+Our Reviews
OSCAR NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCED:
-American Sniper, Boyhood and Birdman Lead the Pack of Hollywood's 'Luvvie List'
-But Not a Single Black or Latino Actor Makes the List
Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel lead 2015 Oscar Nominations with Nine Nods each...
Whilst The Imitation Game Gets Eight
- Angelina Jolie's WWII Epic 'Unbroken' overlooked
The runners and riders for the 87th annual Academy Awards are in - and they are not without controversy.
From left to right, the Oscar nominees are Patricia Arquette, Bradley Cooper, Julianne Moore, Eddie Redmayne, Reese Witherspoon and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel lead the pack with nine nods each while Benedict Cumberbatch's The Imitation Game got eight. In a year where big box office earnings failed to translate into critical acclaim, the nominees included more art-house films such as Boyhood, Whiplash and The Theory of Everything.
On the list too: Selma, starring Colman Domingo, David Oyelowo, André Holland and Stephan James, was produced by Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment and Oprah Winfrey
Though civil rights movie Selma made the best film shortlist, the film's director Ava DuVernay was snubbed for the top directing award and critics were quick to point out not a single black actor made the shortlist in any of the acting categories. Reese Witherspoon was named in the Best Actress category for her turn in Wild, but will have strong competition from Felicity Jones for The Theory Of Everything and Julianne Moore from Still Alice while Steve
Carell in Foxcatcher and Bradley Cooper for American Sniper will compete for Best Actor alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in The Imitation Game. Another snub was Jennifer Anisten, she failed to make the grade for her unworthy performance in Cake.
Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel tied for the most Oscar nominations Thursday morning with nine nods each, including best picture.
They were joined in best-picture nominations by Boyhood, Whiplash, The Theory of Everything, The Imitation Game, American Sniper and Selma.
Nominations for the 87th annual Academy Awards were announced from Beverly Hills, where they were broadcast and streamed live.

TRAILERS +
My Reviews on the MOVIES in the Nomination List
American Sniper ... Should WIN
The Imitation Game ... Should be the Runner Up
My Opinion on the others;
Trailer: Birdman -Starring Michael Keaton, Emma Stone
Moving was tedious... Ed Norton was 'The Luring Attraction'. -He is a Great Actor
Trailer for Wes Anderson's Hilarious Grand Budapest Hotel
Good Movie- Hilarious
Boyhood: Groundbreaking Films uses Same Actors over 12-Years...
Persevering Director, but not worth Hollywood's 'Rave Reviews', it becomes boring after a while
The Theory of Everything Trailer, Starring Eddie Redmayne
Good Movie, Incredible Man that will be Recorded in History...
Still Alice Official Trailer Starring Julianne Moore
Good Actress, But the Movie should Never have Reached the Short List
Reese Witherspoon Hikes the Pacific Crest Trailin in Wild
Idea Copied from a Original Australian Movie, about a Woman who travelled SOLO, with Camels in the Australian Outback...It could NEVER beat the Original Movie
