Out side workers in Government sectors don't have to go out side to work when the temp is over 37c. We have been drinking lots of water and I shaved the poor dogs, just to keep them cool. I have not been going to bed till early hours of the morning because it is just to hot.
I Know what you mean Baz, last weeek we had out of controll fire, 4 days it took to put out only few Ks away (couple miles) and I have never seen a blood red sky during the day before, luckily no houses or people were lost but it was really e wry being so close. Its a shame I didn't have my camera at home because words can't describe what it was like.

Its now 3am here in Queensland and trying to sleep in bed is impossible as I never stop sweating but instead find myself falling asleep sitting up,like drifting out of conscious and back again.

Now we have a low forming of the eastern coast forming into a cyclone so who knows whats next?
