Thank goodness this wasnt as bad as predicted or many may have died. I have to say the delays in the warnings going out were disgraceful. Hawaii only had an hour's warning before the tsunami was due to hit. The roads rapidly became clogged with traffic, which came to a standstill. The police had to inform all the people stuck in their cars to leave them and go to higher ground. Tourists in the beachfront hotels had to go onto the higher floors or up onto the roof of hotels.
Scary time indeed.
