Your point boils down to ease of convenience, Myk. While ease of use/access/results is a high ranker, to me in the end none of that matters compared to security. If you get busted and taken to court over IP violations, it'll shake anyone's world up.

While the examples that have been made for public opinion in court are few, those that exist are shown to be very stiff. If you are in the US, shortly, 6 strikes is going to start with them looking for examples to start with. That will not be a good time to do torrents and for those in the US, it's gonna be a file sharer's changer in how files are shared and what files are shared.

For the now, cyberlockers are not included in that sweeping spying regime.
