Default Re: UK Prime Minister Wants to BAN PORN on Line

I hope you will pardon that I did not read this specific article, having already read several about the same topic.

I am of the same opinion that it won't work. Nor do I think the forces pushing the filter are actually after porn. There's a more devious plan behind all this than just porn.

The first warning sign that it is not what is really intended but what is being sold to the public as the reason, is child protection. It's a red flag and any time you see that, look deep, things are being hidden and aren't being talked about what the real aim is.

It is the wet dream of the copywrong forces to have in place a method to remove off the net or a method to remove access to any site they deem as problematic. All you have to do to get a sense of that is look at recent laws. The copywrong forces have even cut themselves out an exemption to standard law. That is to say, not innocent until proven guilty but rather guilt by accusation.

The whole purpose of this porn filter, is to put into place a method to block those sites they object to. They can't get those sites blocked until such software is in place. The way to get it in place is of course to claim 'it's for the children'. If you are against that, what is wrong with you that you have something against kids. It's the old smoke and mirror routine.

Still as you have mentioned it won't prevent anything other than the clueless from continuing to use the net as they see fit. As you mentioned in another article about TPB being blocked, it took one user all of 15 minutes once they discovered the site was blocked to gain access.
