Not if you can't get in to Safe Mode on the troubled PC? 128MB of RAM isn't very much these days, Are you running XP on that? I think XP even recommended 512K.


Do you have anyone else that could burn it for you? If so, put the UBCD iso on to a USB thumb stick.


I can't say for sure, but it sounds like you may have a CD Burner going bad. You could try cleaning the laser if you know how to do it, or if you have a cleaning disc.
