Default Re: XP hangs on shutdown

1. Try closing everything you can in your tray (lower right corner) before you shut down and see if it still hangs.
1a. if #1 works, remove things from your startup.


2. Run a CMD shell and try shutting down with "shutdown -s -t 0"
