Default re: Power of Prayer >No Matter Which Faith YouFollow=GOD is With You

No apologies for it is an open thread but I am sorry my dear as you are entitled to your opinion, I and others are entitled to theirs. Our God our Father sent his Son Jesus for one purpose and one purpose only and that was to be the perfect sacrifice as a lamb for our sins should we only ask for forgiveness, believe on Him as our Lord and Savior and accepting him as such.
Jesus was and is the cornerstone of the Christian Church which we as Christian are a part of and should be a member of. The Bride of Christ is the Church and the Church is what Jesus will return for to receive as His Bride. I myself await with great anticipation for our Lord's soon return and gladly fall on my knees in prayer to HIM, my Lord and my King.
How do I know these truths? By the presence of the Holy Spirit, sent by Jesus to make us aware and know these truths.
My Love to ya all and pray for your understanding.

As far as Rev. Wilkerson's riches go, I have no idea but I do know he
was the founder of the addiction recovery program Teen Challenge, and founding pastor of the non-denominational Times Square Church in New York City and wrote several books. I am not one to pass judgement on how he lived his life or how much money he made or for any one else for that matter.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
