He Was Called the Dominican Michael Jordan! The Felipe Lopez Basketball Story.
Felipe Lopez was the number one high school prospect after his senior year in 1994 that was called the spanish Michael Jordan when he was dominating New York City high school basketball.
One high school sports writer says, Felipe was the most hyped player to ever come out of New York City up to that point and there was more buzz surrounding Felipe than Lew Alcindor and Kenny Anderson. His college and NBA career was a disappointment but Felipe had a special moment playing high school basketball in the 1990’s that left a mark.
