AshampooŽ Spectre Meltdown CPU Checker

You can download a small program from Ashampoo to check if your CPU is vulnerable to Spectre/Meltdown.

https://www.ashampoo.com/en/usd/lpa/spectre-meltdown-cpu-checker
Note, this is just a check not a patch/fix.

--------------------------------------------------------------

For those of us running Linux there is a check tool too....

So, if you want to check for meltdown and spectre vulnerabilities on your Linux OS.

Download spectre-meltdown-checker.sh from here (23.7kb Archive).

https://github.com/speed47/spectre-meltdown-checker
Once downloaded open it in terminal or as root and run

sudo sh spectre-meltdown-checker.sh

from where you downloaded/placed the file.

This will open a terminal and give you relevant information on any vulnerability.
