I like, you colvey and many members miss our CHAT box...
Unfortunately there was a serious coding conflict problem weeks ago, which took us/our servers and their specialist vBE techs days to solve temporarily..
This caused us all lack of sleep for days, due to different time zones... to test many things to remove certain items in our ADMIN cp to solve which coding was responsible for the problem..
It was an enigma for sure, for ALL those 'BIG BOY' TECHs.... believe me.....but interested them enough that they seemed determined to solve it..
They switched off the CHAT, I switched off other things...
After much 'trial & error' it appeared our CHAT box was causing the problem and in conflict with our vB version...
So we had 3 choices...
1. Close down our site and start again from scratch, thus losing some history, and causing our registered members to Re-Register.
2. Allow our Server ''Spec. Techs on vBe'' access to view our ADMIN cp..
3. Allow our Server to monitor the site for a few weeks...
After much investigation by our WEBMASTER, he suggested certain things to our server..... Eventually our site was back up, BUT, without our CHAT... Thus we lost it ..... 
So sad eh colvey?
We could buy new software to install a new one, but we simply do not have the money to do so..
