United States of America re: Power of Prayer >No Matter Which Faith You Follow=GOD is With You

In This Time Of Election

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

Rev. Richard Owen Roberts, in his booklet, Unalienable Rights, wrote,

God Himself instituted and regulated human government... designed to guarantee the unalienable rights of both the Creator and the created. Our Forefathers saw as self-evident the transcendent truths enumerated in the Declaration of Independence: 1) that we are the product of a Creator; 2) that the Creator rules by natural and revealed law; 3) that He alone grants unalienable rights, including Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness; 4) that He is the Supreme Judge of the World and thus the final arbiter to whom we appeal our cause; and 5) we should rely on His Providence completely. These truths provide the very foundation of our nation.

"Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people" (Pr 14:34). A government that willfully violates the rights of God is a government that disgraces itself, placing itself and its people outside the ranks of divine protection and blessing, and positioning itself for the most horrible decline and destruction imaginable. (R.O. Roberts, Unalienable Rights, 1993)
  • May Americans realize this policy as not only calling evil, good, and good, evil, but forcing others to call evil, good, and good, evil -- something no God-fearing man or woman can do. May the American people reject this wicked policy, and express their displeasure by rejecting every candidate for public office who supports it. May America's pastors be quickly informed, fully grasp the spiritual implications, and teach their people about this immoral travesty this Sunday -- the last Sunday before Election Day. How much longer can God tolerate our flagrant national sins? May God have mercy!

If Hillary Clinton should win this election, we'll know that God is ready to pour out His wrath onto this nation and all hell will be breaking out. It will be one rough ride for us all. It is in His hands now. Pray, pray hard for His mercy.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people -- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4
